MYSTERION EXHIBIT
The Galleries at First Pres is pleased to exhibit Mysterion, a collection of works by renowned contemporary artist, Makoto Fujimura.
Makoto Fujimura is a leading contemporary artist whose process driven, refractive “slow art” has been described by David Brooks of New York Times as “a small rebellion against the quickening of time”. His bicultural arts education led his style towards a fusion between fine art and abstract expressionism, together with the traditional Japanese art of Nihonga and Kacho-ga (bird-and-flower painting tradition).
The Galleries at First Presbyterian Church will also be open for the MAC First Fridays gallery crawl from 6:00-9:00pm starting in April through July.
