Register Now for Workshop with Nancy Guthrie

Friday, February 21, 2020, 6:30pm – Saturday, February 22, 2020, 12:30pm

Do you ever read the Bible and have a sense that there is a deeper meaning or significance that you can’t quite figure out? Or do you sometimes wonder why others are able to draw something out of a passage of Scripture that you didn’t see until they pointed it out? If so, we hope you’ll make plans to come to a Biblical Theology Workshop for Women.

Our aim will be to increase our Bible skills so that rather than being bored or intimidated by our Bibles, we’ll become more intrigued by them. We want to grow in confidence that we’re grasping what the Bible communicates to us and grow in love for the Savior it reveals.

Bible teacher Nancy Guthrie will lead participants in reviewing the key events of the Bible’s story and the major sections of the Bible. Nancy will demonstrate telling the story of the Bible through the lens of one of its important themes, and participants will work together on tracing a few themes through the various sections of the Bible. Then we’ll look at the opening of each of the Gospels and discover how a growing understanding of major biblical themes adds to our understanding when we see those themes arise in smaller parts of the Bible. The three sessions will be energetic, interactive, and fun.

This workshop is for those who are new to the Bible as well as those who have been studying it for a lifetime--and everyone in between.
