This November, we’re bringing awareness to the needs of vulnerable children in the Upstate and inviting you to be a part as we fulfill the calling outlined in James 1:27: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” Please join us in praying for waiting children, ongoing advocacy efforts, and the dedication of those already caring for vulnerable children. For a weekly list of ways you can pray and get involved, click here. This week please pray for children in foster care, siblings who are seperated, youth aging out of foster care, mentors and mentees, teachers and classmates.
As we head into the holiday season we need help to create meaningful and dynamic experiences through sound, lighting, video, and stagecraft. No experience? No problem! We provide training. Serve behind the scenes and make a big impact. Please email productions@firstpresgreenville.org for more details. We’d love to have you on the team!
